St John Ambulance Cymru continues to support the largest vaccination programme in history and have received an unprecedented response to the campaign for additional volunteer members. We would like to thank everyone that has applied and notify any prospective members that this recruitment campaign is now paused. This does not affect any current application.
As an organisation we are constantly recruiting for members to support our communities pan-Wales, so although recruitment to the Vaccination Programme is now on pause, there remains several roles available. If you can spare your time we would love to hear from you.
We are currently looking at how we support our partners in our local communities and with this mind we are looking to recruit Community First Responders throughout Wales.
All volunteers will be trained to the required standard and will assist the community support provided by the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (WAST).
Details on how to get involved will shortly be available on our website and registration is currently available via Register - St John Ambulance Cymru
All registrations for Regions are currently listed as County Induction Units, these Units will feed into local Divisions
